The Wood-Land-Lakes' Council is a group of volunteers who provide direction and
leadership in identifying and addressing the area's potential on a
multi-county basis. The six-county Council is directed by 21 members with representatives from:
- County Commissioners
- Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service Boards (CES)
- Soil and Water Conservation District Boards (SWCDs), and
- At-large individuals or groups

The Council meets on the fourth Thursday of February, April, June, August and October at 4 pm. Meetings are open to the
